Calendly was a pioneer. We’re picking up the baton.
Calendly is a great company with a truly pioneering product. Modern scheduling tools like SavvyCal wouldn’t be what they are today without them.
It’s also a generic tool, built to appeal to a vast range of audiences, needs, and industries.
SavvyCal focuses on the person booking. They see a full week, can overlay their own calendar, and see your preferred times first. If you need SMS reminders, routing forms, or a free booking link, Calendly covers those and SavvyCal doesn’t.
A fundamentally different scheduling experience

When Calendly is the better fit
Calendly is the better choice if you need SMS reminders, routing forms that send leads to different people based on their answers, a free plan with a booking link, or a mobile app. SavvyCal doesn’t offer those today.
Switching from Calendly
Set up SavvyCal alongside Calendly, then retire your Calendly links once the new ones are in place.
- 1
Sign up. Create your account. It’s free to set up.
- 2
Connect your calendars. Connect Google, Microsoft 365, iCloud, and Fastmail calendars, as many as you use. iCloud works even if Calendly blocked it for you.
- 3
Recreate your links. Set up a link for each Calendly event type, with its durations, availability, and questions.
- 4
Update where you share them. Swap the link in your email signature, website, and saved replies. Old Calendly links keep working while you move.
Why people switched
Officially cancelled my Calendly and upgraded my SavvyCal. Allowing my invitees to overlay their own calendar to pick a good time is game changing!

I am a power user of scheduling tools. I’ve been using Calendly for years and loved it, but when I saw SavvyCal, I knew I had to switch.
Jay Clouse

I moved from Calendly. Really, it’s as simple as stop sending Calendly links and start sending SavvyCal links, and let the Calendly stuff gradually fall off.
